    Hey Amrit,

We discussed your Thor essay idea today - fine if you've got the published sources (which can include content from DVD commentaries - you just have to reference it correctly) - remember, if you want to make a specific point about the production design, you need to be able to demonstrate that there is evidence to support your view. You need to ensure your introduce and define 'production design' as a concept in general terms before getting stuck into the close analysis of Thor. I gave you the Rough Guide today - go to the 'Dos and Don'ts' page and use it to sort out some of the style problems in your academic writing - for example, the use of the first person and the waffle...

Re. your thumbnails, you've got some nice, exact images, but you need to think more dynamically about composition, space and scale. At the moment, our point-of-view is very removed from the temple - as if we're floating; move the viewer down to the ground level, so we get a better sense of the size and grandeur of the building. For an example of some dynamically-staged sets, watch this animation:

Also, don't lose sight of the fact that this is a design-lead project, so what is your visual concept - the ideas underpinning the way your world looks? Your creating concept art for an animation remember, so think about colour and style - your world needn't be photorealistic afterall.

This production art from Disney's Atlantis might further inspire you to think more dramatically about your spaces.
